      Flexible, fulfilling, but still acts like a start-up which is sometimes not a good thing.

      Flexible, good salary, ok benefits, nice offices in Linthicum MD,

      Cons

      Lack of processes/systems cause many manual and therefore time-consuming, error-prone activities. Lots of non-value add work due to lack of investment in infrastructure/processes. Lack of financial analysis. Accounting refuses to provide financial analysis to management.

      Pay scale was very good.

      Cons

      Short staff so lots of work, not always enough people to handle the work. Training and building employee skills could have been better, but tremendous amount of work so was not seen as a priority.

      MEN division still has Nortel culture hangover

      flexibility for family somewhat interesting work

      Cons

      (specific to MEN division) 'Nortel' culture and old boy system still exists. little opportunity for advancement in career. Too many old Nortel hands hanging on. Outdated views of development.
