Pros

Good place to work, upper management seems to know what they are doing. Allows flexible working hours when reasonable. Not too much corporate politicking.

Cons

If you are looking for the latest or hippest place, Ciena is not it. The technology is fairly advanced, but the overall culture is fairly old school. Flex PTO may not be everyone's cup of tea.
