Pros

Free movies and free popcorn/soda

Cons

The company itself does not care about its employees. Guest satisfaction is the only thing that matters. Most of the time the managers will take the side of the guest over employees. Hours are very hard to come by. Not somewhere you'll want to work if you have a lot of bills to pay.

Pros

-Free Movies -Free popcorn during shift -Great coworkers

Cons

-Very low pay for the amount of work that is expected. The hours can be long and strenuous and as an usher, it takes a toll on your body. I've had chronic back pain as well as joint pain since working here - Hours: Barely any work life balance. Schedule adherence is ridiculous. You will be scheduled til 2am but be expected to stay til sometimes 5AM and then come in early the next day -50% food that is freezer burned during your lunch. Cinemark finds every way possible to get money out of their employees - Have to pay full price for concessions if you go in to watch a movie. Yes. Even popcorn - No benefits, they will work you for 39 hours to avoid providing healthcare benefits yet want a doctors note if you miss -Toxic work environment: It's very obvious MGMT gets paid very little as well. The company pushes them with high expectations causing then to stress and taking it out on us - Sale goals when there is no commission - Very strict: we would get yelled at for talking with one another. Not allowed to use headphones while cleaning even when closing
