Pros

It's a very easy job to do especially if you are new to working. Flexible schedule. Able to see movies for free and get discounts at concessions. A perfect high school job, because its extremely lax (when it's not busy).

Cons

Mandatory for you to work two weekend nights, or at least keep them available. The environment at my location was a bit toxic, and people can stab you in the back. Very strict rules when at Concessions or Selling tickets. Some of the managers don't do their jobs.

Pros

Free flicks, great people, tons of fun. It really was a great job. I genuinely enjoyed what I did and looked forward to going in to work every day. My coworkers were (generally) great people. The work was easy, even during the craziest nights. I worked for the company for several years, left to try a different career path and came back when I realized that I had too much fun with Cinemark.

Cons

Required to work holidays, nights and weekends, so pretty much no social life. Upward mobility rapidly stalls... GM positions are relatively few and candidates are many. Absurdly low salary caps for the assistant staff. The GM's annual bonuses are largely dependent upon the performance of the assistant management staff, yet they see none of that money. Did I mention that it's not conducive with a social or home life? But that's not Cinemarks fault, it's just an unfortunate drawback to working in an industry that does most of its business during evenings and weekends.
