Pros

Overall 'Ok' work environment. Very good for a teen looking for his/her first job. Flexible hours, coworkers are always nice, free movies

Cons

After awhile it does get boring. Unprofessional work place, managers share information to employees that they shouldn't be telling other. Unprofessional management, minimum wage

Do not work unless looking for flexible schedule

Pros

The only real pro of working at Cinemark Theaters is that it provides a flexible schedule that caters to the needs of students. However, other than that -- there are no real pros.

Cons

Life work balance is poor. Cinemark Theaters is open 365 days a year and requires all employees to work every holiday, even major ones such as christmas, thanksgiving, new years, and new years eve. There is pay and a half holiday pay, however, with wages so slow this hardly makes a difference. There is more emphasis on customers rather than employees. There are no major employee incentives. You get free movie tickets but there is a cap, limit, and time span in which you can use and retrieve them. Discount on food, but with prices so high the price is reduced to regular market price. Customer is always right and employees need to cater to their needs at all times, even when customers are at fault. Heavy intense workload with low pay. Pressure to never receive over time even when extra time is needed to complete work
