Pros
I love the people that I work with, I love my job, and I love coming to work! There have been many improvements here that I have been fortunate to be a part of, and have even helped to implement. I took a position here that wasn't exactly what I was looking for, but I put in the hours and committed myself to doing my best. It didn't take long before my work ethic was noticed, and I was moved into a position that has been more challenging, but much more satisfying.
I had worked retail for 15 years and wanted a change of pace so badly. Most companies are not interested in anything that someone with that background has to offer, but I felt like I my interviewer listened to me when we spoke, and chose to hire me based on all of my diverse experience.
Since I have been here, I feel I have had the opportunity to learn more than I would have at any other company. There is a wealth of information to be shared, and most of everyone I work with gladly gives of themselves. If you do your job and put forth the effort, you DO get rewarded. The CEO will actually stop to have a conversation with anyone, and that is such a change of pace from the other places I have worked.
Bottom line: There is plenty of opportunity for anyone willing to put in the work and not come here with their hands out. The hardest workers are the happiest ones.
