      Pros

      Cintas is a very strong company. This is a great place for someone who wants to venture into sales. Successful employees are promoted and compensated well. This is a great résumé building experience.

      Cons

      The culture is overwhelming. Only those who give themselves and drink the kool aid will be happy. Cintas creates a very plastic cliquey environment with an unnecessarily heavy dose of politics. Most importantly, this is not a place for experienced sales professionals, only those without experience will thrive here. Those with with experience selling will be asked to dismiss all quality techniques and habits that are not congruent with Cintas methods.

      Pros

      Pay was not bad for awhile, co-workers were friendly for the most part.

      Cons

      Economy has hit this place hard. Most corp departments have been outsourced or are going to be outsourced. Not many long term partners left, no one really knows what the different divisions are or what they do. Management bonuses based on Six Sigma 'made up' numbers. Corp offices are a museum now, big shell of a building with no one in it.

      Pros

      You truly determine your own destiny. Hard work and perseverance pay off. If you are dedicated and detail oriented you will thrive. You will get experienced at contract negotiation, customer service, and route sales.

      Cons

      Physically demanding job. Sometimes there is difficulty getting things (products and equipment) you need to perform the job well.
