Strong growth from hiring the right people

First, you get the right people on the bus. Then you decide where the bus will go. Cirrus goes to great lengths to hire the right people. I have seen dozens of people passed up in search of the right team member. That kind of hiring discipline is a primary driver of Cirrus' growth. It is an an open secret which has been surprisingly difficult to replicate at other companies.

Cons

We have struggled with hiring enough staff to keep pace with revenue growth.

Fun environment, employee's are dedicated, hardworking.

Cons

Too many close relationships, with senior managment. Very hard to advance if your not a part of the "in crowd". Constant restructuring and axing good employee's. Senior VP of Engineering MSA very stern and hard to work with, major discourse and low morale since he was hired in 2008.
