      Worse place I have ever worked.

      I eventually got paid. The location is good.

      Cons

      Despite promoting work/life balance throughout the interviews, there was no work life balance. Despite interviewing just two weeks before starting, I worked on nothing that was discussed during the interview. I was personally berated for over 30 minutes by a project manager in my first week there. This type of behavior is acceptable there.

      Pros

      This is the first place I've worked since graduating from school, so I can only compare to what others have told me. Cirrus provides an excellent benefits and compensation package including health insurance, dental, vision, wellness programs including an on-site fitness center complete with group classes, and an available discounted rate for on-site chair massages during the day. They even offer discounted guitar classes during the lunch hour! Furthermore, there are company outings that really bring the company together such as weekly free happy hours, monthly concerts and birthday celebrations, and the quarterly all-hands meeting that is surprisingly entertaining and enjoyable. The employees are excellent and possess an ownership of their work while projecting an uncanny nonchalance.

      Cons

      The name "Cirrus Logic" isn't widely recognized by the general public, so people tend to confuse my company with one of many others.

      Great colleagues, fair compensation. Working in certain groups can be very technically rewarding.

      Cons

      Management is so out of touch with reality. Poor leadership - they are too busy organizing happy hours!
