Pros

I joined Cisco right after graduating with my Master of Science degree. It is obviously one of the biggest high-tech companies and it is very stable. We have all the right infra structure so we are fully empowered to do our jobs. Also, most functions are located in the Bay Area campus so we have less issues dealing with multi site issues, although we do have occasional issues like that.

Cons

It is a huge company and sometimes there is a danger of becoming an anonymous worker amongst endless of other smart colleagues. Also managers tend to have too much power.
