Pros

Was a contractor for 7 yrs before being converted to FTE last year. I appreciate the flexibility to work from home and do so 60% of the time. For the most part doing work I enjoy and enjoy my team.

Cons

Cisco routinely switches adoption and/or drops of internal tools routinely. However if you are around long enough, "tools" resurface ;-) like MS-SharePoint which was ditched in my old group in 2013 and is now back company wide now as the "new" thing. Sometimes I have to work with not so competent contractor team members (guess Cisco is paying very low?) - frustrating.
