Pros
In Cisco, Employees are well respected and treated. Cisco has an open, inclusive culture. Work and life can be well balanced. Senior managment promotes and practice an open transparent communication and employees are kept informed on company's strategy and direction. Overall, cisco is a good place to work.
Cons
It is too big, and too slow for you to move if you want a fast pace. Individual's contribution doesn't matter that much in such a giant company, which means the contribution may not be recognized properly. Cisco Systems might be a Good Place to work, but not a great company any more.
