Pros

flexible remote work anywhere decent colleagues

Cons

layoffs without notice, restructuring when the new flavor of the month management comes on board. they don’t take employee feedback regarding what works and doesn’t. terrible technology employees have to use they manage via email mostly for internal stuff. For customer support no central database of knowledge unless you count a free wiki haha it’s ridiculous wouldn’t recommend at all

Pros

The staff is knowledgeable and great to work with.

Cons

The mission of Cisive to become one of the largest global background investigation firms has gone astray, where there was once great potential. C-Suite has been replaced almost entirely after GTCR's acquisition, and the company's direction seems precarious. Many jobs were lost along with the knowledge of the subject matter experts who were dismissed. The resulting services provided to the clients have declined due to loss of knowledge, lack of proper management, and faulty automation processes. GTCR, as an investment firm, has opted for the cheapest labor possible by dismissing American employees and increasing staff at our foreign offices at the lowest possible wages required by those countries' standards. The investment in its remaining employees has declined with many offices closing and Christmas bonuses being a thing of the past for most of the lower-level staff. They have disbanded the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusive Committee, leaving many employees wondering what this means for the culture of inclusivity that was once held dear. This company was, at one time, headed for greatness. Unfortunately for the employees, clients, and consumers, greatness has been traded in for automation and cheap labor.
