Great environment to work, a little tough to advance

Pros

Smart people, company supports continuing education and community involvement. Loyal to its employees (mostly) wants to see you succeed. For a stressful industry they do everything they can to keep people at just the right stress level to make them want to achieve for the company, and themselves.

Cons

Different groups tend to hold information close to their chests, which can make the day to day work difficult at times. Need to standardize some of the work processes, it would make things run a little smoother.

Hard to have a life outside of work (but this is true of the industry, not just Citadel) Management tries hard but can be hit-or-miss at times Very political within departments, even though they strive not to be
