Pros

Easy to get promoted, just find a new job (although it may take 20 interviews if you dont have a back), apply, you get a higher rank and more money. Everyone at Citi is a VP, it is not comparable with other companies. Majority of VPs provide very low-quality work

Cons

Everything is bad, from IT, through HR to line managers..You deal with constant pressure (and chaos), unfriendly and competitive (not team-players) colleagues and micromanaging LMs. This is the only bank that requires employees to come 3days/week during pandemic to the office, my manager has no mercy to allow to come to the office after 9am ("our MD wants to see us working") despite not facing clients, and HR does not care if you have any issues (they reply after 10-20 days). People who stay here for years have never worked at any other bank and do not appreciate creative ideas. My advice is - stay away from this bank. I am trying to get out, hopefully soon...
