Pros

Nikko Citigroup has a vast and strong client base in Japan. It is a large organization and leads in many deals every year. This could be a place to get some hands on experience on some complex and messy financial systems.

Cons

Management is not efficient and competent. More people than required. Need to be trimmed in size and be efficient in operations.

Pros

The people are great, but it's the 'other' people you should try to avoid (the people who take credit for the work that you do and make you do work that they're supposed to do)

Cons

The managers will refuse to check your work and the staff end up doing all of the checking.

Pros

Its a large corporation, with offices everywhere, so it might be a good place to work if you want to travel (thats if citi was hiring anywhere.. which they are not). People are generally nice. Recognition is usually given to employees who do well.

Cons

Salary is terrible. You cant work flexible hours. Managment doesnt not communicate with employees effectively. There are too many incompetent people (probably due to the low pay).
