Pros

Hybrid at least 3 days a week in office

Cons

Managers and senior managers don't know what their doing. Expect something different on every audit. What is done correctly on one audit would be incorrect on another audit. Like what is so hard on getting proper documentation on DEA/OET, there is no structure. Seniors take on a lot of the bad reviews since Managers and senior managers cannot own up to their own mistakes of misleading a person on work paper. The trainings are horrible. Back to back audits no balance. What is the purpose of bmqs if you don't look at it for the audits? Their lack of structure and inconsistencies cause people to overwork. It makes no sense. Low raises and low bonuses.

Pros

Cool people, work-life balance, good health benefits, great middle-managers

Cons

US Commercial Bank (CCB) employee here. TL;DR: I do NOT recommend you work here, NOR do I recommend you bank with Citi if you have a business. Run, run far away. Citi is a circus. Everything is broken (leadership, credit, client services, back-office, implementation, employee moral, etc.). Employees are resentful and unhappy—new leadership always finds a way to shaft employees on compensation/bonuses/performance—no matter how exceptional you were. Most importantly: clients despise the bank, so your personal reputation will be destroyed as you try to protect Citi… your efforts will also be in vain. Yes, ALL banks are broken in one way or another, but CITI is truly broken across the board.

Pros

Flexibility ( depends on which team you work with) Decent company

Cons

No Structure - they expect you to do a walkthrough and just run with the controls. Very inconsistent - some managers try to help by doing things correctly and many managers don't know what their doing. The new analysts and seniors struggle. They also like to give unrealistic deadlines. This department needs help and if their concerned about retention make things better for the employees.
