My Review of Citi Position

Pros

It is a more laid-back atmosphere, and in most cases provides good work-life balance. Working from home remote is on a more widely accepted.

Cons

Spends considerable effort defeating itself with excessive bureaucracy, and a simple lack of planning, and good decision making. Better execution would result with higher quality people, yet Citi seems to look at IT Talent as a commodity and still relies too-heavily on out-sourcing.

Pros

Benifits are o.k if you can afford to pay $500 deductable for single and $1000 deductable for family on your medical benifts. Vacation time is 2 weeks for new employees up to five years. 48hrs holiday pay and 48hrs unplanned that have to be used in 1 year. If not used can not carry over or get paid out for it.

Cons

Difficult to get promotions. Company continues to cut back on benifits.
