Pros

Summer fridays … that you don’t get to use because there is tooo much work.

Cons

Private Equity is destroying public accounting. They don’t have infrastructure to support growth. Poorly run. Joel cooperman sold his soul to the devil.

BPO Department is Toxic

Pros

Salary is at the top tier for outsourced accounting firms.

Cons

Horrendous leadership at every level. Organization leaders do not provide feedback until reviews. No one-on-one meetings with my boss, unless I was working on an engagement with a significant monthly fee. Huge amount of turnovers in the BPO department since I left the organization, which speaks to a lack of leadership and direction. Focus is on managers generating business for Citrin but that was never discussed during the interview process and the tools provided to grow the firm were not sufficient.

Pros

The advisory group is very flexible with remote work and non-linear work days.

Cons

New firms coming in so a lot of growth makes the firm somewhat segregated
