Pros

CityVet is a company that genuinely invests in its people and culture. The leadership team is approachable, transparent, and committed to growth without losing sight of what makes the organization special. There is a strong sense of purpose behind the work, and employees are given opportunities to contribute, grow professionally, and make an impact. The collaborative environment, focus on quality medicine, and commitment to supporting both teams and clients make it a rewarding place to work.

Cons

Like any rapidly growing organization, there are times when processes, systems, and communication need to evolve to keep pace with the business. Growth can create shifting priorities and occasional ambiguity, which may be challenging for employees who prefer a highly structured environment. Teams are often moving quickly, so adaptability is important.

Pros

CityVet's leadership genuinely cares about its Lead Veterinary Partners and their teams. They consistently seek feedback and make meaningful improvements. Having veterinarians in leadership brings a level of understanding that comes from firsthand experience working in practice. Amazing culture - best job I've ever had!

Cons

Most of the challenges are natural byproducts of growth—learning new processes and adjusting to change - not a bad thing!

Pros

CityVet does a great job keeping veterinarians at the center of decision making. Leadership is accessible, clinical autonomy is respected, and there are meaningful opportunities for growth and ownership for those interested in building a long term career. The culture is collaborative, and I've found people genuinely want each other to succeed.

Cons

Like any growing organization, change happens quickly and priorities can evolve as the company scales. Growth can create additional complexity, but leadership is generally receptive to feedback and focused on continuous improvement.
