      Leading firm in its industry Innovation is highly appreciated Not scared of change - brave player on the market Personal & professional growth opportunities (provided in a structured, transparent way) Hard work and proactivity are always openly appreciated and often rewarded

      Too much structure, sometimes A few months of insecurity & hiring freeze due to merger talks with Huntsman (eventually out of Clariant's way) "German" approach = structure, hierarchy and process orientation

      Pros

      Good work life balance, little stress, good salary and benefits. Little space for growth. Some management think they are the best in the world, and Clariant has been their only employer in 20-30 years so have absolutely no idea or desire to learn anything new.

      Cons

      Extremely slow to change, public servant mentality with 50% of workforce, people focus on “why you can’t change” instead of pushing it.
