      Pros

      Tech has some smart and interesting people working to upgrade a woefully outdated application suite. Leader in searchable databases of proprietary publications.

      Cons

      You are just a side of beef hanging in Onex's meat locker. They will continue to mindlessly cut people and costs to match an acquisition model's profit assumption no matter what. Largely focused on separating themselves from old parent (TR), and not much new development or product enhancements going on.

      No work from home for Boston employees

      You must enter at least 5 words for Pros. Sorry but I can't describe any of the Pros, aside from the fact that it's a job.

      Cons

      today, the business revoked the work from home policy for Boston based employees. I also just found out that there is no severance policy in place anymore (which was silently revoked in July 2017)

      Shiny new packaging, same old awful company

      Pros

      When I first joined the company, Clarivate had been formed through the acquisition of Thomson Reuters IP & Science division and there was a significant amount of excitement about the new venture.

      Cons

      Unfortunately, there was an opportunity to replace middle management teams for various products/companies and they simply hired previous friends who don’t know how to do anything other than wine and dine clients and then lose them a year later.
