Pros

- Great culture. Full of bright, motivated people who legitimately enjoy their jobs. - No dress code for roles that don't need it. If you're a software engineer, you can wear what you like. - Dog friendly. Cute puppies everywhere. - Subsidized lunch. $5 meals that are legitimately awesome (and free if you carpool thanks to their carpool program). - Fresh ground, gourmet coffee available. Always. - They fully embrace the 40 hour work week. There's no expectations for staff to be regularly working 50 or 60 hour weeks. - A hundred other developers and tech staff on site to learn from and share with. - Discounted child care on site if you need it. - A decent gym on site. - Endless opportunities for advancement.

Cons

- You need to put your best foot forward during your first 60 days. Clark fiercely defends its culture. If you show during your first 60 days that you've got a negative attitude or that you're not willing to put the work in to learn and grow as an employee, you might not make it. They're up front about this but it's worth being aware of.

Cons

- BELOW average pay - You will be working in the dark (they only turn on 1/3 of the lights) - Management buys office snacks, but intentionally the ones no one likes - You are a resource - You will get 1/10th the perks your peers in the PA office get - Managers micromanage everything you do - Only 10 PTO days

We're sorry to hear you wouldn't recommend working for Clark. We are very intentional about making sure employee compensation is competitive and above average for the market. We just updated our PTO structure so that employees are able to earn more days earlier, and we are constantly evaluating the benefits offered to make sure they're competitive and meet (or exceed) our employees' expectations. We also seek to hire employees who are reliable and do the right thing which is why we offer some the ability to work from home. If managers truly were micromanaging everything employees did, we would not offer this perk. Your feedback has been passed along to our Tampa management team for additional review.

Pros

The overall atmosphere is great, everyone gets along really well and works with each others strengths and weaknesses. There is a lot of appreciation shown from the company to the employees and it is made clear that the company is willing to invest resources into personal growth and development.

Cons

The only downside I've seen is that there isn't a clear path of advancement though it is known that the opportunities exist.
