      Pros

      Plenty of opportunities throughout the company to gain experience in the field and learn about the construction business.

      Cons

      Poor management/manager development. Not enough is done at a company wide level to develop managers that keep their subordinates engaged. This contributes to a sink-or-swim culture and high turnover. More concern is given on “getting the job done” than employees professional development.

      There are absolutely no pros to this job .

      Cons

      No support from supers or foreman’s, the will start you out at 20$ and spend a lifetime of working your butt off to get a quarter raise every year. Benefits not available until 2 yrs with company. No bonuses. Say there all about safety but will cut any corner possible to save a dollar.

      Workload is heavy Too many hours. On average you work 10 hours over every week without additional pay. Little flexibility in your role, work is repetitive Culture is too rough and full of loud, ignorant men
