Initially, my employer called me into her office on June 24th and told me it wasn't working out and that I was being let go because I didn't "fit in" and that she only heard negative things about me and I wasn't learning as fast as what she wanted. She then offered to keep me on until July 10th to see if I improved at all. I was still in training for my position as a media buyer and the coworkers I worked with directly told my employer NOT to fire me because I was still training and when my employer went asking about my performance- she ONLY asked for the negative feedback and not what I've done well or anything. I was also told by the same coworkers that the employers daughter didn't like me and wanted me to get fired. I also NEVER received a 90 day review even though my formal offer letter stated that my 90 day review would have been on 3/1/2023... typo for 2024. When I brought that up to my employer, she said that they don't do performance reviews because they don't have an HR department. Also, I have unused PTO that was offered to me but was NOT paid out to me. When I brought that up to my employer she said it must've just been a glitch in Quick books because I hadn't been there long enough to have earned any PTO when in fact I did have 52 hours of unused PTO.
