Pros
Was in desperate need of a job and I applied at Clark's. Was surprised at the pay for just part time. I moved up quick. The employees I met when I was there were like family. Great people who are fun to work with yet keep a professional mindset. Upper management really cared. I had an amazing store manager who's now at flatirons in Denver still dedicated to the job.
Cons
I saw upper management putting stress on the store manager and assistant manager when the store was losing traffic. We were located in a mall and they were doing construction right outside the store. No one wanted to be at the mall.

Pros
You get paid every week on Friday. If you are a regular part-time worker your shifts will sometimes be short (typically no more than 5-6 hours per day). There are store contests and if you win you get anything from an extra $25 dollars on your check or luxury item (apple watch etc.) for making sales goals. Laid back atmosphere ( at outlet locations).
Cons
Very little opportunities to move up. Pay can be as low as 7.25-8.50 per hour regardless of prior experience. When and if you are given keys it will take a month or more to see the pay increase reflected on your check. Depending on the volume of the store you may only get 5-15 hours per week as a regular PT, or 15-21 if you hold keys ( the majority of the hours are allocated to the store manager and assistant manager), Stores at times are Very slow so it will fill like you are wasting your time ( at worst times an hour or more will pass between customers). No health benefits unless you are full-time. Low wages. Customers come in and take shoes out and leave them everywhere.
