I worked at Clark's for over a year, and my experience was marred by an extremely toxic work environment. Unfortunately, the issues were systemic and involved several aspects of the workplace: Harassment and Bullying: Managers consistently engaged in verbal harassment and bullying of employees. Instead of providing support and leadership, they belittled staff and created a hostile atmosphere. Policy Violations: There were frequent violations of company policies, often overlooked or condoned by management. A particularly troubling incident involved a manager being caught stealing from the store while employees were wrongly accused of theft. Unprofessional Conduct: A manager regularly opened the store late because they were preoccupied with TikTok live sessions, during which they gossiped about and cyber-bullied employees. This not only disrupted operations but also contributed to a significant drop in morale. High Turnover and Instability: There was a constant turnover of managers, leading to a lack of stability and job security. This instability negatively impacted team morale and overall job satisfaction. Lack of Response to Resignation: After submitting my resignation letter, I was removed from the schedule without any response or acknowledgment from my manager. Despite numerous attempts to contact management and HR for clarification, my emails, calls, and messages were ignored. Overall, the work environment at Clark's was deeply unprofessional, and the management practices were both unethical and detrimental to staff well-being. I would not recommend this company based on my experience.
