Pros

My direct supervisor is very supportive. My clients are a pleasure to work with. There are some employees who really care about the work. The pay is decent for a pre-licensed position.

Cons

Productivity is valued over effective care. Upper management blames turnover and QI issues on new hires, which obviously has a very negative effect on morale.

Pros

There are no pros at all when it comes to working at Pathways.

Cons

They try to shame you when you do not participate in potlucks. I mean if you see someone put their finger in gravy and put it in there mouth and stick the food back in the microwave you would not participate as well. The company gives credit to the ones that do not do the work. Senior Benefit Specialists gets all the kudos while the benefit specialist does the work. It's alot of teacher pet situations going on. No one stays.

Dependent on the team and division, there is a high level of clinician support. Those teams are empathetic and understand the need for flexibility and work-life balance in high stress positions in the company.

Cons

Bureaucracy interferes with client care. Lack of transparency. High turnover/burnout rate. Low pay. Lack of transparency from upper management.
