Pros

Warm, friendly environment between staff, overall. Most staff really cared for consumers. Some staff had been there for 13-14+ years which is a good sign.

Cons

Management was out of touch with daily nursing responsibilities, departments did not communicate causing consumers to sometimes fell through the cracks, out of date pay and raises were out of the question. Everything was about "productivity" and "numbers," not what kind of care the consumers received. Not outcomes.

Pros

Nothing at this time. Anything good was removed by the company in the last two years.

Cons

Inept management who then treats employees poorly. Employees leave, and then the rest of the staff are expected to pick up the extra work. Poor or stagnant compensation - any raises the last few years have been eaten up with health insurance premium increases. Taking away of previous benefits. Shady business dealings but compliance reports go nowhere. Poor and/or inadequate care for patients, but pinching pennies is more important than good mental health care.
