Flexible schedule (to a degree) Professional experience with social work

Cons

Unpredictable hours (20 hours a week when supposed to be full-time) Lack of shared resources Lack of community with other coworkers A LOT of mileage put on your car

THE ABSOLUTE WORST!

Pros

Schedule can be flexible, depending on position. There are some people who care...not many, but some.

Cons

Insulting Pay, greedy upper management, dishonest and manipulative at the top of the state (TN), expectations of doing multiple jobs for the same abysmal pay. Camelot had a lot of issues...Clarvida is absolute sham ran by a den of snakes. DO NOT DO IT!

Pros

Everyday is different (never boring), make a real impact, build relationships with clients, chance to advocate for people to get resources they need, crisis intervention

Cons

Overall disappointed in staff on this team. Staff are poorly trained/vetted/educated. Poor understanding of mental health, harm reduction and client centered care - punishing clients instead of trying to meet them where they are (ironic because we work with recently incarcerated people- feels like an extension of the criminal justice system). leadership avoids answering questions directly leaving team without a sense of direction. few systems in place for safety (ex. drive car alone with clients with potentially dangerous/erratic behaviors)
