Pros

The individuals was the only part that made the job worth it.

Cons

Run by discriminating Karen's. It's all middle aged white women who have a huge stick up there butt and look down on everyone around them. Do yourself a favor and skip this nightmare.

Pros

I have been working here 4 months, and I already got my Peer Support Certification and Youth Support Completion that they paid for. The schedule is super flexible. You let them know how many clients you can handle and you make your own schedule with your new clients. Everyone is awesome to work with. I couldn't be happier to work at such an awesome place that really cares about helping people. I may go to the office once a week to see a client. I usually go to their home. I love my job! As a Respite Care Provider, I basically in most cases take the kids to the park, YMCA, library, or any number of places kids love to go and be entertained. I've done things I've never done before. I jumped from a rope on a tree to the river in Star. I went swimming at the "Y" and down a slide and felt like a kid again. This is my dream job. Peer & Youth Support is quite a bit different in that there are goals that the client design themselves with your support and empowerment that process will one day graduate them. They are always in control of their process therefore some will need support longer than others. HR, IT, and anyone I have come across here has blown me away with how supportive they are and making me feel right at home.

Cons

There's some computer work which is normal for most jobs. I'd say 15-30 minutes a day depending on how many clients you saw that day. Driving but if you drive 45 minutes or longer you get paid for that and going from client to client as well.
