Teachers receive a great deal of support - both by being provided an excellent curriculum to work with and receiving consistent feedback from an instructional coach. If you want to grow as a teacher, this is a great place to be. The team is very collaborative and you can lean on your colleagues to develop your practice.

Cons

Like any role in education, specifically in the community served, the work is high stakes and may require more time spent. However, if you learn to be efficient during the day, there is less work to bring home. Also, curriculum is provided as a teacher and as an instructional leader, you have a great team and lots of resources.
