This place takes good employees and turns them into unmotivated robots. If you're joining through the fellowship, there will be no work like balance whatsoever. This is a lifestyle position. I Expect to eat, breathe, and sleep Classical. You will be penalized for not answering emails and not completing trivial tasks that have little to do with actually teaching your students. I have often worked 12 hour days and suffered health issues related to stress. The salary isn't even worth it because of the long hours (~25 an hour). Also, they have stopped removing violent problem students, even when they put teachers and students in harm's way. They will blame you for all of your students' behaviors and their scores even if they refuse to pay attention.
