Pros

The people are friendily and the atomsphere is laid back.

Cons

There are 3 facialities and all 3 are ran differentily. There's no consistency in the way the company is run. Half their income is spent renting their own equipment to the sourcing group. Very few raises are given out.

Pros

Traveling around the country over 50%. Flexible work schedule when at home.

Cons

Horrible pay, no raises, no future. They just get new employees and burn them out or get them hurt working over 12 hours in the field every day straight for periods up to a month.

Pros

Reliable/stable work environment. Field employees work long hours but get lots of world travel and experience. Good work-life balance for office employees, typical 8 to 5 office hours. Company is flexible if needed, but that mostly depends on who you work for. Hard work and extra effort is noticed and rewarded most of the time. Walkable to Metra Northwest train line and downtown Palatine which has decent selection of restaurant options. As long as you're not sleeping at your desk, you won't get fired.

Cons

Few cons as long as your expectations are in line with a typical small energy company. Company has existed for over 40 years but management is in transition and current environment teems with uncertainty. Intracompany bickering. Pay is on the low side of average for most positions, so negotiate a better deal early. Leadership demographic is mainly white male; "good old boys club".
