Pros

Clear Channel is one of the biggest names in advertising, specifically in OOH. If this is an industry you want to work in, this is a great name for your resume. The position is hybrid, so you will be able to work from home twice a week. They provide 2 months of initial training (enjoy the downtime during training because you won't have much of it after training). You are not micromanaged and have a lot of autonomy. It is not a relatively hard job, just tedious as there are a lot of factors that go into each proposal. The company offers health, vision, and dental insurance but only covers a small portion.

Cons

The work can be boring/repetitive. There are two deadlines per day, which you are expected to complete 5 RFP's per deadline period. Some plans can take upwards of 3 hours (or longer) to complete based on the requested information and we often run late on completing our queues (which can be held over your head during performance reviews). Additionally, it is heavily team-focused so you will not be released for the day until your entire team is done. If you are done for the day, you will receive other team members' work to do while you wait for everyone on the team to finish. Additionally, this position has no career growth. There is one level and no promotions. Bonuses are based primarily on EBITDA instead of personal performance and are not guaranteed (can earn up to 10% if the company does well that year tho). We do high volume and each individually produce over $30M each year for the company but still don't receive commissions. 401K matching is a joke, they only offer a tiny amount but hide it behind confusing percentages and words to say that they offer a match. Can feel like you're just a cog in the wheel very often. Little to no company culture. The job is entirely possible to do fully remote, but they insist on it being hybrid - which makes it hard to get by because you need to be in the office 3 days a week and your salary is below the median area average.
