Pros

The money is good and the snacks in the office are too.

Cons

Beware taking a job at this company - the money might be tempting but the culture is extremely toxic and unhealthy. There is no HR or policies in place meaning that it is the wild west in terms of performance and employees not performing well or doing inappropriate things are not being held accountable.

Great Place to Start a Career

Pros

Some really smart people that love technology and are great resources to learn from. The engineering side uses all the latest technologies and is always open to pivoting and using tools that might better fit the problem at hand. Lots of stuff to do I started working on tickets and projects within 2 weeks of joining. Aside from engineering everyone is friends here and the company makes an active effort to host events like happy hour.

Cons

There's a lot of hiring going on which is a good thing, but you can get lost within all the new people joining. Compared to other tech companies there are no real benefits to joining Clear Street except for lunch, but I'm sure as the company grows this will change

- Team members are responsive and helpful. - Free snack/drinks. You are compensated for lunch up to $15 every weekday. - Salary is very competitive.

Cons

- Can be very noisy in the office as the trading floor is close to the engineering room. You will hear yelling and random outbursts.
