      Untrustworthy and dysfunctional leadership

      Pros

      Everyone on my team is great: smart, fun to work with, professional and supportive managers. I've learned a ton in my role and have been given a lot of opportunity to grow. I really have loved working here up until recently.

      Cons

      The situation at the company has gone downhill since the takeover of Clarke Capital Partners. They have poor communication, no transparency, and make a lot of grandiose statements and promises they don't keep. The CEO is behind the times and out of touch with employees' needs. The past year has been very chaotic with a mass exodus of employees, layoffs, and now an extreme and poorly-executed shift in policy surrounding work-from-home and remote hiring. Leadership failed to anticipate the effect that a nationwide recession would have on its business, and instead of taking responsibility for its poor planning and bad investments (i.e., a giant new office building that nobody asked for), it's trying to blame employees and punish us by taking away benefits and perks.

      I loved the team I worked with.

      Cons

      The leadership has zero direction and is horrible at communicating with their different teams. Every department lives in their own silo and there is no sense of direction communicated to teams about a common vision other than a pep talk from leadership every 6 months that is just empty directionless words.
