Pros

Great Training program, you are paid through training and "nesting". Managers for the most part are very young and not great at coaching or leading. However, there are a handful that are. Culture overall was good. Good benefits. Never messed up pay or commissions.

Cons

Things changed after training and we learned that company closes on Dec 7 and doesn't re-open till Jan 2. So had to use PTO pay just to get by in the month of December. Commission structure is low. If you have used up your PTO to get through Dec, don't even think about trying to take any time for many months after January or you will be written up or even fired. Phone calls worst part. Medicare benes being transferred to my line without an introduction and they don't know why they are there, bait and switch program, lead program consits of promisting stimulus checks and if they connect with the Agent only have to answer 2 questions to get the benefit, or other false advertisements.

Pros

-paid weekly -parental leave if you have a baby while with them -PPO plans to choose from -401k -some awesome supervisors -unpaid personal time off

Cons

-sales are expected to be high even after OEP, even when ancillary plans automatically deny beneficiaries due to age or health condition, SEPs are hard to find but youre still expected to sell Medicare Plans -some supervisors do not care one bit. they will tell you the bare minimum and refuse to answer questions -training was with 2 different systems which were integrated into one. -you can use "unpaid personal time off" but in the end it comes back to bite you if your sales arent high enough or if you cant find SEPs or if the ancillary plans arent available to the beneficiary. -if you are given a final warning, you cannot switch departments, so if your not doing well with medicare sales, you cannot switch to a department where you may thrive. -some supervisors refuse to let you know that you have a verbal and written warning and you find out you have a final when you return -3 weeks unpaid during December

Pros

They are Flexible with your schedule.

Cons

Underpaid, promotions are tenure based only, a promise to let you lead and flourish is always quickly capped when you actually ask for it.
