4yThank you for offering your comments. We operate 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year which creates the possibility of unusual work shifts. We encourage our employees to work with their local supervision on any special scheduling requests. Current demands on our HR department from needs to hire to meet increasing production demands and the barriers created by COVID-19 has been difficult. We are committed to focusing our attention on our employees who are the most important assets and providing the right resources our employees deserve.

We also understand that the steelmaking industry can be demanding with our operations running 24 hours a day, seven days a week. COVID-19 has created staffing issues that are affecting us and plaguing the entire country. The general labor shortage is closely connected to the challenges we’re experiencing in our operations right now. We are committed to improving it and getting to a better place from a staffing perspective.
