      Pros

      Culture of teamwork and you really get the feeling you are on a team. Things have been shaky lately, but new corporate management seems determined to stabilize the company. Great compensation and benefits too.

      Cons

      Most of the sites are in smaller towns/remote. Middle management has been in a constant flux.

      Pros

      Cliffs pays very well and offers great opportunities to experience organizational resistance to improvement.

      Cons

      The company suffers from constant chaos at the upper level and lack of consistent leadership. VP and Director level management suffer from gun slinging and silver bullet mentality. They are easily swayed by the latest improvement consultant and snake oil salesmen.
