      Pros

      Lots of good people. Give you plenty of time to learn and gain responsibility.

      Cons

      Can be seen as a pro or con. Pro is that employees have lots of experience and tend to stick around for upwards of 30-40 years. Con is if you’re younger it’s harder to work your way up, and you’re surrounded by many who are older and stubborn in their ways/thinking.

      Upper management rules by fear. You are constantly reminded that your replaceable at anytime. Upper management micro manages everything you/department do. Upper management will give anything to the union that it wants but won't have their own managers back. Toxic work environment.
