Pros

Everyone is young and energetic which makes for a fun work environment. It is nice working downtown in an office environment with lots of freedom. Most sales packages are reasonably priced for our target market so sales are relatively easy to generate.

Cons

Products have very limited value to clients and it is difficult to generate follow up sales due to very poor ratings on Yelp and other sounding boards. Very high employee turnover and burnout due to lack of value for clients. Low base pay and very difficult to reach sales tiers where commission becomes significant.

Pros

I'm not a morning person by nature, and I own a few broken alarm clocks to prove it. But in spite of that fact, I have woken up every morning since I started at Climber actually looking forward to going into the office. I'll be celebrating my one-year anniversary with this company in exactly one week, and my enthusiasm for, and my pride in this company are stronger than ever. The people here are absolutely incredible, and from the ground up, the company is a true reflection of the businessmen who founded it. Mike O'Brien and Nick Jimenez, the CEO and COO respectively, are both profoundly intelligent, ethical professionals who value their employees and take the time to get to know their team as well as they know their business. As bosses, they encourage a fun work environment along with a sense of responsibility among the people they employ. Not ones to micromanage, they expect the same level of respect in return but maintain a great open-door policy that makes it easy to come to them with concerns and ideas.

Cons

As a truly happy employee, coming up with a list of cons is much harder for me. When I first came on board, the way the office was set up was not always conducive to meeting and interacting with people in other departments. However, we recently acquired a new, larger space, which resolves that issue and allows for further growth in the company.

Pros

Decent resume service Utilizes and relies on LinkedIn, which is a very strong resource when properly utilized Job Board aggregation- all job boards in one place

Cons

All resumes reviewed will be deemed insufficient for job search and resume package is pushed to customers that don't need it and can't afford it. Claimed to "SEO Optimize" profiles. Reality is keyword stuffing profiles to attempt to obtain traffic. Ineffective in current SEO environment. Didn't provide coaching with LinkedIn unless paid for resume. In reality, most potential clients didn't have LinkedIn Profiles or any idea of how to use social networking. Poor coaching even after resume is delivered. Very poor cancellation process. Insufficiently trained staff in regards to calling regulations. Job board posting ineffective in current hiring environment.
