Cloudera has been the best company and culture I have worked for so far. The leadership across the CEO, Founders, and SVP of Sales is second to none in my experience. I have been here 3 years now and have been promoted twice. The way I have seen it work is fair. If you work hard and give it your all you get the opportunity to be promoted. My last company I was at for 13 years and politics played a big role. Cloudera does a good job of keeping honest to those that deliver. I appreciate executives that are humble, hard working for the company, and accessible for customer calls. Our executives get involved in selling and care about the people and company. My current executive leader has made a point of mentoring me and helping me hone my executive skills. It means a lot for someone to do that as they don't have to.

Cloudera has been an excellent environment for growth, excellent customers, solid technical colleagues and a focus on mentorship and building up its employees. One specific call out would be to senior management as they have been extremely down to earth and engaged with customers and employees given the scale of the business.
