Thank you for your review and for being with Cloudera for several years. We are glad you appreciate our Unplug days and work-life balance. We also understand that supporting a diverse customer base can be challenging at times, and we appreciate the dedication it takes to provide that support. Thanks for being part of the team!

Pros

Exposure to new technologies, free learnings, growth path to employees, good benefits

Cons

Silo approach never left, each group deals separately with its own business, but there is no pro-active collaboration of knowledge between silos. Lack of single point of knowledge owner cause each Silo to create it's own "knowledge" for the same processes. Though it's a multi nation company, there is still expectation that everyone will act according to the US culture, and in some cases being pro-active and trying to promote issues that impact your work with the relevant stakeholder, is being perceived as stepping out of your jurisdiction, and instead of taking it with you, it is usually escalated to your managers, hence many people do not try to challenge and be pro-active (rather they are just doing what they were told).

We also appreciate your perspective on knowledge-sharing and collaboration. It is helpful to hear how employees experience these areas and insights like these help us continue to strengthen how we work together as a global team.
