      Still a great company if you are in the right team

      Pros

      The employee experience highly relies on the team and the manager but for me it is pretty positive in overall. I work on a very interesting project that has enough depth to always have something to learn. The teammates are super competent and motivated. They are also helpful and nice to everyone. Compensation has been extraordinary pre-private-equity time, but still is competitive.

      Cons

      Since the private equity buyout the mood around the company went wrong. Lot of experienced colleagues left and they could hardly be replaced with significantly younger talents. The compensation since becoming private started to shrink (no more RSUs but some worthless virtual shares), hopefully this is going to be addressed in the near future. There is strong politics involved in what project we prioritise and often not the most reasonably wins. And when people put like 1-2 years into a project then there is a change in direction so that we could start working on something the opposite and put our recent work into the trash.
