      Pros

      Great corporate culture and executives. Some of the smartest people I've ever worked with in industry. Very open and transparent.

      Cons

      Improve onboarding and training program to ensure near term and short term expectations for new employees are occurring.

      Thank you for the recommendation on improving onboarding and training. The HR team is currently working on a plan to redo the onboarding session making it more interactive and informative.

      Failed HortonWorks and Cloudera merger, renewals in the tank and various failed rebranding

      Benefits are great as well as flexible Fridays / Wellness Friday once a month

      Cons

      Failed HortonWorks and Cloudera merger that lead to Snowflake and DataBricks eating Cloudera's lunch and dinner, renewals in the tank that are sub 70% renewed, and various failed rebranding. Sales is a high turnover. All those HortonWorks customer will never come back. On premise is the only hope which leaves a limited market.

      This company has so many opportunities to be successful. There's been so many changes in a short time that has created instability and disruption that could take years to straighten out.

      Cons

      New mgmt team is biased against legacy employees.
