      Pros

      Generally good working conditions, compensation, coworkers. Lots of problems to work on for motivated people. Opportunities to contribute to open source. A lot of good parts of tech stack you can work on or learn from. I'd recommend working here over many alternatives.

      Cons

      Engineering's focus is split too much between products, components, cloud, on-prem, multiple major versions. It always made it harder to execute on building a great product but I think got worse over time. Executives, support, sales engineers can't keep up with everything and it makes things harder.

      Pros

      People were great! If you like Big Data Technology is a great place to be. Felt like a new, growing company - lots of momentum and excitement. Cafeteria lunch in Palo Alto was awesome! Work life balance was great! The Manager and VP I reported to were outstanding!

      Cons

      Overall great experience before I was negatively impacted by a RIFF that I was informed was due to COVID. small complaint - quickly growing team did not have some move advanced internal tools in place yet to make performing job responsibility in a more effective manner.
