      You will get a chance to work on cutting-edge technologies and also contribute to open source while doing so. You will get exposure to lot of opportunities within as new initiatives are being launched on time to time basis.

      The work can get overwhelming given that Cloudera is in growth stage and lot of initatives got launched within company

      Pros

      The entire team at Cloudera was in the 10% of Engineers I've worked with. In addition to being great Engineers, everyone was also genuinely positive and constructive.

      Cons

      There wasn't a high value placed on quality.

      Pros

      Cloudera has all the ingredients to make a successful company... Great people, great product, great leadership. If you, like me and want to work at a company that has incredibly smart people that are passionate about what they do, has a best in class product that not only helps companies bottom line, but most importantly helps mankind and has a leadership team that is transparent, direct and brilliant then this is the place for you.

      Cons

      Facilities, crowded offices, almost impossible to get conference rooms on short notice. Open cube environment makes it difficult to have confidential conversations.
