      Great people, Poor leadership

      Talented and Kind People work there

      Unfortunately after the Acquisition in 2021 the firms that acquired the company don't care about the people, the company is being stripped to be sold to the highest bidder. Some of the leadership is completely incompetent and should not be in their current role.

      Pros

      Pre-hortonworks acquisition, very collaborative and motivating place to work. Original Cloudera leadership inspiring and innovative. Unplug days have helped work/life balance during pandemic Pre PE buyout, compensation was more than fair

      Cons

      Stunning level of incompetence, especially from leadership. Little direction, diversity, innovation, strategy, opportunities for internal promotion Constantly changing course, poor communication, lackluster leadership, Relentless attrition, institutional knowledge has left Post PE buyout, TC took a nosedive and company seems doomed

      A management that is brainless, rudderless. Zero vision and execution. The worst company I have worked for in my life.
