      Pros

      With over 25 exabytes of data under management, Cloudera is in a great space with unlimited opportunity. People make culture, and the people here at Cloudera are great to work with. Hence, the culture is great!

      Cons

      Teams are distributed, so navigating the org takes a little work.

      Was shining a decade back. Sinking ship now

      Pros

      Not all wants to deploy and manage open source solutions themselves. Here comes Cloudera. They are known for Hadoop. In the first part of last decade they were shining. Still many companies using those old technologies and they need support too, and that brings Cloudera money.

      Cons

      1. Since Hadoop no real innovation came from them. They are fettered by silos and dependencies. Redeeming age old things and surviving. With reduced product innovation, it's more of an infrastructure vendor for open source now. 2. No coherent vision, rather fluctuating vision. 3. Almost all of CxO left and they hired new folks. The same rhetoric.
